ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – It had been three weeks since the University of New Mexico women's basketball team played at home on a Saturday, and the great Lobo basketball fans came out in full force to the tune of 8,068 strong inside Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit as UNM took on Fresno State. The largest Pit crowd for a women's basketball game since 2015 provided a tremendous push for the Lobos as they worked past a good Fresno State team by a score of 82-73.
With the win, the Lobos have extended their winning streak to six games and are now 18-2 overall and 8-1 in Mountain West play.
