SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of New Mexico women's soccer team concluded their play in the annual Husky Invitational on Sunday afternoon as they took on the hosts, University of Washington. An 2-0 deficit through the first half proved to be too much to overcome, but a valiant effort in the second half by UNM brought the game its final of 2-1.
The lone goal scored by the Lobos (1-2-0) came in the 62 minute and was finished by junior forward . On that play, the Lobos forced a turnover around their defensive midfield line.
