Lobos apply pressure but drop road game at Oregon State 1-0

CORVALLIS, Ore. – After waiting through an hour-long lightning delay that pushed back the start of Thursday night's game to 9 p.m. (MT), the University of New Mexico women's soccer team continued their grueling non-conference road schedule at Oregon State. Ultimately an early second half goal by Oregon State held up as the final score registered at 1-0 in favor of OSU.

While the Lobos (1-3-0) and their potentially potent offense were shutout for the second time this season, chances were not few and far between on Thursday night. For the game, the Lobos got off 13 shots and out-shot the Beavers (4-0-0) 13-9.
