Lobos add 10 baseball signees

The University of New Mexico baseball team signed 10 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period. The student-athlete will enroll at UNM next fall and play for the Lobos beginning with the 2017 season.

“This is an outstanding recruiting class,” UNM head coach Ray Birmingham said. “We got a lot of great players both from within the state and outside the state.”

Among the 10 signees are four New Mexico products, including three who played high school ball in Albuquerque: Nathaniel Garley (Eldorado), Drew Gillespie (Sandia), Daniel Herrera (NMCJ/Volcano Vista) and Connor Mang (Los Alamos).
