ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There’s nobody around the Mountain West who wouldn’t take Tim Williams’ production.
The Lobos junior power forward is sixth in the Mountain West in scoring (16.4 points per game), fourth in rebounding (7.5) and leads the league in shooting (58.1 percent from the floor).
But with half a season of game film now available, the scouting report for opposing coaches has begun to take shape on the 6-foot-8 Williams, who sat out last year after transferring from Samford.
Now with a dozen regular season games remaining and a postseason to follow, Williams is making it a point to try and take his game “to the next level” by adding to his bag of offensive tricks in the post so as not to become the one-dimensional player some may think he is.
