ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team easily handled Utah State, 77-59, on Saturday afternoon at the Pit. The win lifted the Lobos to 10-6 overall, 3-0 in the Mountain West Conference. Utah State fell to 9-6 and 1-3.
The Lobos, who led 43-18 at halftime, next play on Tuesday at UNLV (8 p.m., CBS Sports Network).
