UNM on Monday night announced the Lobo Howl — the free men’s and women’s basketball preseason exhibition event — will be Oct. 16 in the Pit.
Doors at the Pit for the Howl, which is free to fans and includes autograph sessions with players from both teams, open at 6 p.m. with the women’s portion of the exhibition starting at 7 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m. Parking is free.
Both teams will run drills for fans, compete in a 3-point contest and the men’s team will also have a slam dunk competition.
Season tickets for the men’s team will go on sale Sept.
