The UNM Lobos never turned their back on Connor MacDougall, even after he chose to go play at Arizona State for the 2014-15 season.
The highly recruited Class of 2014 power forward from Tempe (Ariz.) Corona Del Sol High School said he never forgot the bond he felt with Lobos head coach Craig Neal over the past three years, even after initially turning down the Lobos scholarship offer.
So after a season-ending shoulder surgery last winter at ASU and a subsequent transfer to South Mountain Community College, the 6-foot-9 MacDougall said the choice this time around to play for the Lobos was an easy one.
