The strength of the University of New Mexico baseball team's non-conference schedule will show up once more this week as the Lobos are set to bring in No. 11-ranked Texas Tech to Santa Ana Star Field for a two-game mid-week series starting on Tuesday night.
This will be the fourth nationally-ranked opponent that the Lobos will face in their non-conference schedule this season. The Lobos are currently 1-4 in those games. The Red Raiders will also be the second ranked team to come to Albuquerque as the then-No, 25-ranked Oklahoma Sooners did so for a similar two-game series in mid March.
