ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- On Friday afternoon, The University of New Mexico hosted a media forum with local media writers, radio personalities and television personalities, along with head coach Bob Davie and Director of Athletics Eddie Nuñez. The forum was much different than the traditional press conferences that UNM has hosted previously. Held on the third floor of the Tow Diehm Complex right before a busy recruiting weekend was about to commence, the forum had both Davie and Nuñez sitting with the media in a more intimate setting, spurring a more conversational tone.
The media forum touched on many topics, from how long Davie can see himself coaching at New Mexico (to which he answered that as long as he was winning football games, he could coach at UNM "a long time"), to any on-the-field changes with the team, coaches and scheme, to questions of Nuñez from how to get more fans in the stands to how to do more surrounding the home events.
