Last year’s No. 2 UNM cross country team receives all-academic honors with these sterling GPAs

The 2022 national runner-up University of New Mexico women’s cross country team included seven runners, all of whom were named all-academic for the 2022 season announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Samree Dishon (3.73 grade-point average, psychology), Abigail Goldstein (4.02, graduate studies), Emma Heckel (4.01, exercise science), Gracelyn Larkin (3.85, exercise science), Amelia Mazza-Downie (3.70, psychology), Elise Thorner (3.34, communications), and Ali Upshaw (3.95, community health) were each named recipients of the award, which is reserved for runners who combine excellence in the classroom with outstanding performances on the course.
