COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- The Lobo men's tennis team is on a pretty good roll, winning eight of its last nine and sitting in first place in the Mountain West. We success comes honors, and UNM picked up another as Ricky Hernandez Tong was named the Mountain West Player of the Week after a 4-0 week. He is the second Lobo to pick up the honor this season after Dominic West earned the same last month.
The 2018 Mountain Region Champion, Hernandez Tong led the Lobos to a 4-3 win over Boise State, and then a 4-1 win over Utah State in a battle of unbeaten teams.
