The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team is scheduled to tip off at about 9:15 p.m. at Moby Arena in Fort Collins against host Colorado State. The Rams are beginning Senior Night festivities as of this writing.
The Lobos need a win to have a chance at the fifth seed for next week’s Mountain West tournament, which is important because it carries with it a first-round bye.
The Lobos (21-9) also are clinging to the chance of attracting an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament, though most prognosticators of renown have UNM on the outside looking in.
