ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Director of Athletics Eddie Nuñez has announced that David Williams, the Deputy A.D. at the University of South Dakota, has been named the Deputy A.D. for External Affairs. Williams replaces Brad Hutchins, who served in that same role through December of 2018.
With UNM, Williams will oversee UNM's external departments including ticketing, marketing, communications and licensing. Williams will also have sport administrative oversight as well.
Williams is a 28-year veteran of collegiate athletics, and he brings a wide variety of experience, not only at all levels of collegiate athletics, but also in duties.
