FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Emmanuel Omogbo, Antwan Scott and John Gillon each scored 18 points and Colorado State knocked New Mexico out of a tie for second-place with Fresno State in the Mountain West with an 86-69 victory Tuesday night.
Sam Logwood's jumper midway through the first half gave the Lobos a 21-15 lead, but the Rams roared back and took a six-point lead into intermission and Scott drilled a 3-pointer to open the second that quickly pushed the lead to 40-31 and another a minute later that made it 43-31
Omogbo was 7 of 10 from the field and grabbed 13 rebounds -- eight off the offensive glass -- to help pace Colorado State (15-13, 7-8).
