ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — JaJuan Lawson, among the most faithful Golden State Warriors fans in these parts and a friend of the guy who could be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, this week roamed the green lawn that serves as a practice field for the UNM football team.
He sported the black shirt emblematic of a Lobo quarterback – calling plays, running, throwing, cajoling and having about as good a time as you can at practice.
“People see it as a game of just butting heads, physicality,” Lawson said. “But in reality, the smartest guys survive.
