INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The University of New Mexico equaled its school record as four programs earned official public recognition from the NCAA for having a 2014-15 APR score in the top 10 percent of the NCAA in a particular sport. The four programs were women's golf, women's tennis, men's golf and men's tennis.
The total gives New Mexico 11 public recognitions over the last three seasons. UNM's four sports were tied for the second-most in the Mountain West, behind Fresno State, which had five sports recognized. UNM has now had 20 sports recognized by the NCAA for superior APR scores since the first APR Public Recognition announcement in 2006.
