New Mexico bounced back in a 6-2 victory over UNLV on Saturday.
UNM sophomore Tyler Stevens pitched eight innings of one-run ball, working out of a multitude of jams on the afternoon, allowing the Lobos' offense to finally get going after a slow start at the plate.
The win evened the series up at 1-1 with the rubber match coming on Sunday at 2:05 p.m.
