ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —- UNM offensive guard Aaron Jenkins has been picking up plenty of preseason accolades for the Lobos, earning first team kudos from Athlon, Lindy's and the Mountain West Wire. Now he can add one more to the list.
Jenkins, UNM's top returning lineman, was named Preseason All-Mountain West in a vote of league media members that was announced on Tuesday morning as the 2018 Mountain West Football Summit commenced in Las Vegas, Nevada. The league released the preseason team along with the predicted order of finish.
Jenkins was the lone Lobo to make the list, but it was his second straight year making the league's official preseason team.
