Who is Yegor Sokolov?
Yegor Sokolov is a forward from Yekaterinburg, Russia who made his way across the Atlantic last summer via the CHL Import Draft. Sokolov is a big-bodied winger who played this past season with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. Coming in at 6’-4” and 225 pounds at just 17 years of age, Sokolov is not hurting for size by any stretch.
