The Devils have an MVP winner after forward Taylor Hall took home the franchise's first Hart Trophy at the NHL Awards on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
Hall's win capped off a career season where he finished with 39 goals, 54 assists and 93 points to help the Devils reach the postseason for the first time since 2011-12.
The former No. 1 pick joined other top selections that have won the award, and after his second season in New Jersey, he thanked his club for helping him take another step in his career.
