Puddy supported the team and now he’s got the mask to prove it.
Actor Patrick Warburton, who played face-painting Devils fanatic David Puddy on Seinfeld, recently received his own goalie mask tribute from artist David Gunnarsson.
It’s a replica of the one Gunnarsson created for Devils goaltender Scott Wedgewood last season to rave reviews.
Warburton liked it so much, he took to Facebook for a video thank you.
“This is gorgeous,” Warburton said. “Thank you so much. It will have a place of honor on my bar.”
Gunnarsson, an admitted Puddy fan, was only too happy to unite the mask with the man who inspired it.
