Everybody remembers May 25th, 2012 in New Jersey Devils land. The Eastern Conference Finals against their bitter rivals, The New York Rangers. The Devils hosting the top team in the Eastern Conference with one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals.
The game started off great for Jersey’s team, as goals from Ryan Carter and Ilya Kovalchuk put the Devils up 2-0. Martin Brodeur was making some spectacular saves at 40 years old and the Devils appeared to be on their way, but then things became less certain after the Rangers came back to tie the game.
