The New Jersey Devils have been using a lineup that is less than ideal for a few weeks now. Most people agree that Jack Hughes played way too many games on the wing. He hasn’t had the best rookie season for a number-one overall pick, not by a long shot. However, people often forget that he is the youngest player in the NHL. The skill is clearly there and he can only get better. The good news is that once he improves it will likely be a significant improvement.
The Devils are going to move Hughes back to the center for their game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
