The New Jersey Devils lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets by a final score of 4-1. Another game without Taylor Hall, and Keith Kinkaid getting the start on the second half of a back to back. The Jackets just have the Devils number, winning all but one matchup over the past two seasons.
It is very hard to win a game when you relinquish the first goal of the game just 45 seconds into the contest. That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday night. Then a few minutes later it was 2-0. The entire blame should not be put on Keith Kinkaid because the entire team needs to play better in front of him, but a goalie who bails his team out is something this team needs to win.
