The New Jersey Devils lost in overtime to the Tampa Bay Lightning. It wasn’t your average game as the Lightning sealed their victory by scoring their seventh goal of the game to win 7-6. It was a monster offensive game except for the fact that the Lightning didn’t really deserve to score seven goals. The Devils dominated them in all facets of the game and still came out with the defeat in overtime. This loss stings as much as every other loss because they blew a multi-goal lead at home once again.
They outshot the Lightning 42-23.
