The New Jersey Devils are building around a very young core and are trying to build a team that will have sustained success. It has pretty much been built from the ground up. The rebuilding hasn’t done much for the on-ice product prior to this season, but it is all coming together. That might be helped along by new Devils’ prospect Michael Vukojevic.
He was selected in the 3rd round of the 2019 NHL Draft, 82nd overall. This could turn out to be one of the mid-round steals of the draft. He had a really good development camp and raised some eyebrows with his play.
