The New Jersey Devils remain the only team in the NHL without a head coach. That apparently is close to changing. According to reports, the New Jersey Devils and GM Ray Shero are closing in on naming their new head coach. While the exact candidate still remains unconfirmed, there are a few candidates that seem to be in the final running. One candidate no longer be considered for the New Jersey Devils Head Coach vacancy is former Tampa Bay Lightning Head Coach Guy Boucher.
Guy Boucher had been finalist for NJ job but his window to leave Bern in SUI closed today.
