The New Jersey Devils are streaking going into their Wednesday night matchup with the Minnesota Wild. Less than 24 hours before, the Devils beat the bricks off the Toronto Maple Leafs, giving Sheldon Keefe his first win against his old team. That makes five wins in a row for Jersey's Team, something they haven't done since January 2023.
The Devils were expecting to get reinforcements back for this game. Seamus Casey was taken off of injured reserve and sent to the Utica Comets. That will eventually act as depth for the Devils if they suffer an injury on the right side of the defense.
