Lou Lamoriello could be making move to one of the Devils' closest neighbors.
The former Devils president and general manager has been in talks with the New York Islanders about a job in the front office, according to a report from Sportsnet.
Can confirm the NY Islanders and Lou Lamoriello are now talking about a position within that organization.

Lamoriello was moved out of his role of general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs on April 30 -- something that was planned after he left the Devils for the Leafs in 2015.
