Taylor Hall was happy to see the NHL stand up for its players.
After Hall was kneed in the head by Ottawa Senators forward Alex Burrows in Tuesday's 5-3 Senators win in Ottawa, Burrows was suspended 10 games by the NHL on Wednesday for his actions.
Following an open-ice hit by Hall on Burrows, which NHL called legal twice in their explanation of Burrows' suspension, Burrows pursued Hall after the play ended. Following some punches, both went to the ice, where Burrows kneed Hall in the head while laying on top of the Devils forward.
