How Devils' Michael McLeod is prepping for 1st pro season

Pro hockey is a different animal than juniors. Michael McLeod knows it will be an adjustment.

After finishing his final season of junior hockey in the OHL with the Mississauga Steelheads, the Devils' 2016 first-round pick will land in the NHL or with the Binghamton Devils in the AHL to start the 2018-19 campaign.

Either way, he'll be adjusting to a more demanding schedule than he's seen before.

"You just have to put in the extra work. It's not about (just playing) on the weekends," McLeod said. "Gotta put in the extra work and treat your body better.
