NEWARK — The recall of 21-year-old center Joe Blandisi from Albany (AHL) is something the Devils should be doing this season regardless of their injury situation.
They need to see what they have in the organization in this transitional season.
But the loss of Travis Zajac and Adam Henrique will definitely be a test for the short term, beginning with Friday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings at Prudential Center.
