Four Goal First Fuels Syracuse to 5-3 Win Over Binghamton

Syracuse caught Binghamton flat-footed with four goals in the opening twenty minutes on their way to a 5-3 victory over the Devils on Friday at Onondaga County War Memorial Arena. However, three-second period goals from Binghamton made it a close contest until an insurance goal from the Crunch late in the third period.

It didn’t help matters much as Devils’ netminder Eddie Lack appeared sluggish, as he let all four goals in on just eight shots, but settled down the rest of the night finishing with 21 saves. Goalie Connor Ingram made 30 saves for the Crunch as they skated away with their sixth consecutive victory.
