Over the weekend, NHL Network announced a 16-game weekend slate of games that will be broadcast with a unique broadcast crew. The first game will be this coming Sunday’s game between the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers.
The Devils and Boston Bruins will be featured four times, leading the league.
What makes these game broadcasts unique is NHL Network will produce the games; since 2008, the network has aired games using the call from one of the two team’s local broadcast. The games will be called from the NHL Network studio in Secaucus, N.
