Devils lose to Islanders after Marcus Johansson forces OT | Rapid reaction

Mathew Barzal scored the game-winning goal with 1:20 left in overtime to give the New York Islanders a 4-3 win over the Devils on Friday at Prudential Center in Newark.

The Devils were able to salvage one point when they tied the game with 10.2 seconds left in regulation.

After Nick Leddy gave the New York Islanders a one-goal lead in the third period, nearly two minutes of 6-on-5 hockey paid off for the Devils when Marcus Johansson batted in his own rebound to send the game to overtime.

Barzal then forced a turnover at the Devils' offensive blue line, rushing the other way to score on his own rebound.
