Cam Johnson May Have Played Last Game With New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils announced the signing of goalie prospect Gilles Senn to a two-year entry-level deal. This is one of the many goalie prospects the Devils have in their system now coming to North America to play his hockey under Ray Shero and company’s direct watch. This is a good move, but does it mark the end to another prospect’s time with New Jersey?

It seems there may no longer be room for Cam Johnson after the Devils make the Senn signing official. Johnson is a restricted free agent, and with Evan Cormier signing his own entry-level deal during this season, there’s nowhere to really put Johnson.
