But when they picked him 41st overall, the Devils also drafted their first-round pick's self-proclaimed social media manager.
Bastian and Michael McLeod, the Devils 2016 first-round pick, played together with the Mississauga Steelheads last season, and the teammates have a strong bond. Enough so that Bastian made the push for McLeod to finally join Twitter.
