The New Jersey Devils jumped into the action leading up to Monday's NHL trade deadline by acquiring right wing Michael Grabner from the New York Rangers on Thursday night. They traded defenseman prospect Yegor Rykov and a 2018 second-round pick to the Rangers in the deal.
