Two fights and a few more scrums highlighted Wednesday night's loss, with defenseman Seth Helgeson and forward Ben Thomson both serving five-minute majors for the Devils.
"As a kid, the Flyers were my favorite team, and I always knew they were a chippy team," forward Miles Wood said. "That's the kind of hockey I like, but overall, (Ben) Thomson, Seth (Helgeson), did a great job standing up for their teammates and getting the fights in early, and it sparked us at times.
