2016 NHL Draft: Devils take Nathan Bastian in 2nd round

It also didn't take long for Devils first-round pick Michael McLeod to be reunited with a former teammate.

The Devils used their second-round pick, 41st overall, on right wing Nathan Bastian. Both he and McLeod played with the Mississauga Steelheads in the OHL last season.

The New Jersey Devils selected center Michael McLeod with the 12th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Draft after trading down.

After picking Michael McLeod, a 6-2, 185-pound center in the first round, the Devils added another big forward in Bastian. The right wing is listed at 6-3, 207 pounds.
