There were some memorable moments for the Devils in the calendar year of 2015.
Patrik Elias scored the 1,000th point of his NHL career with a goal and two assists against the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 6. Exactly one month later he scored his 400th goal against the Maple Leafs and then played in his 1,200th game Feb. 13 in Chicago.
The Devils celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first Stanley Cup championship with an alumni reunion game on Mar. 8.
And on Mar. 29 the team was officially eliminated from the playoffs for the third straight year.
