Kei Kamara wasn't with the New England Revolution this weekend but he did score a goal.
On Saturday, Kamara represented Sierra Leone in an African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ivory Coast. Kamara was returning to the national team after a one-year leave of absence.
After going down in the 35th minute via a Jonathan Kodjia bicycle kick, Sierra Leone battled back with the help of Kamara. The striker scored in the 67th minute with a goal that perfectly encapsulates last year's MLS Golden Boot runner-up. The play began with a free kick that Kamara finishes with a diving header.
