He's back.
On Saturday, former New England Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones returned from his six-game suspension, collecting a goal and assist for the Colorado Rapids. Jones and the Rapids went on to defeat the New York Red Bulls 2-1.
Jones spent a year and a half with the Revolution and helped lead the club to the 2014 MLS Cup. In sum, he made 34 regular- and post-season appearances, offering three goals and six assists. During his final moment in Revs colors, the US international confronted referee Mark Geiger in the 2015 MLS playoffs, a decision that led to his suspension.
