U.S. Open Cup - Revs beat Union on penalties FC Dallas leave it late

The New England Revolution beat the Philadelphia Union 4-2 on penalties to advance to the U.S. Open Cup semifinals.

Diego Fagundez found Je-Vaughn Watson from a set piece and the midfielder's left-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner beat Union goalkeeper Andre Blake to make it 1-0 ahead of the break.

Kei Kamara was dangerous throughout the second half, calling Blake into action once from 18 yards out and again from just inside the penalty area with a curled shot that the Philadelphia keeper parried away.

The visitors scored in injury time with a pair of substitutes connecting to force extra time.
