On Wednesday night, Revolution forward Charlie Davies approached the pitcher's mound at Fenway Park, kicked his leg and delivered a ceremonial opening pitch in front of 31,000 Red Sox fans. His toss set the stage for an electric final game of the Red Sox series against the Baltimore Orioles.
According to Revolution VP of Marketing Cathal Conlon, Davies' pitch pounded the strike zone.

And as Davies later admitted, he put some extra mustard on the toss to Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart.

Before Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly threw the game's official opening pitch, Davies had a chance to connect with future hall-of-fame slugger David Ortiz.
