Six Revolution Academy Players Announce College Commitments

FOXBOROUGH, MA. – Six Revolution Academy players have announced their college commitments for the 2019-20 academic year. All six players competed on the Revolution U-19 team that won the 2018-19 Northeast Division. Feb. 6 marked the first day that a high school senior could sign a binding National Letter of Intent for a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) member institution. The deadline for high school seniors to sign a National Letter of Intent is on August 1.

Midfielder Trevor Burns has verbally committed to Georgetown University, where he will play under Head Coach Brian Wiese. Burns, 17, has played six seasons in the Revolution Academy and tallied three goals in 18 appearances for the U-19s this season.
