Shalrie Joseph Returns to Revolution to Coach U-15 Academy Team

The positive news continues for the New England Revolution, as they named club legend Shalrie Joseph the head coach of the U-15 academy squad on Tuesday. Joseph, 42, is one of the most accomplished Revolution players of all time; the defensive midfielder is a seven-time MLS All-Star and a four-time MLS Best XI awardee.

A native of Grenada, Shalrie has dipped into both playing and coaching capacities for the national team. Between 2002-2008, Joseph recorded 20 appearances for the Spice Boys, and was twice named Grenada’s Footballer of the Year. As the head coach in 2018-19, Shalrie led Grenada to promotion from League B to League A in the Concacaf Nations League, clinching berth to the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup tournament.
