Seven-year MLS veteran Jalil Anibaba joins Revs’ preseason camp as a trialist

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Four players have kicked off preseason camp with the New England Revolution as unsigned trialists: a trio of SuperDraft picks and a seven-year MLS veteran.

Joining Brandon Bye (1^st round, 8^th overall), Mark Segbers (1^st round, 9^th overall), and Nicolas Samayoa (4^th round, 78^th overall) – all selected in last week’s MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas – is Jalil Anibaba, himself a 9^th overall SuperDraft selection back in 2011.

The 29-year-old defender has made more than 170 combined appearances in the regular season and playoffs with the Chicago Fire, Seattle Sounders, Sporting Kansas City, and Houston Dynamo.
