The Revolution left Sunday’s match against NYCFC heartbroken after conceding yet another late lead. But that wasn’t the worst outcome of the 2-1 loss.
On Wednesday, Revolution Writer & Editor Jeff Lemieux reported that midfielder Kelyn Rowe, who sustained a knee injury late into Sunday’s match, will miss at least six weeks with a right knee sprain.
With just eight weeks remaining in the regular season, Rowe may not appear again this year, barring a late-season resurgence by the 10th-place Revolution.
Diego Fagundez and Xavier Kouassi, who suffered their own injuries Sunday, returned to full training this week.
